She was predeceased by: her parents, Leasel Gray and Jennie Shedd Gray; and her siblings, Clarence of Ed, RJ, Virginia, Odel, Ruby, Lacy, Dora and Jewel.
She is survived by: her daughter Anita Stovall (Raymond); her grandchildren, Shawn Schuller, Taveras Stovall (Mindy), Shannon James, James Beasley III and Dorian Beasley; her great grandchildren, Amber, Matthew, Alaya and Amiyah; her niece Sandra Turner; her nephew John Childress, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Cathy Beasley; and also, Alice Spraggins, Gerry Wilkerson, Lois and Verita Taylor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mark & St. Paul Parish Church (216 University Ave, Sewanee, TN 37375). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
