She was predeceased by: her parents, Hannah Aldridge Hardie and John T. Donohue; her husband John W. Orr; and her brother Donald Lee Blankenship, Jr.. She is survived by: her son John W. Orr, Jr. (Mia Ibarra) of Austin, TX; her close friend Laurence Alvarez of Sewanee, TN.; and her siblings, John T. Donohue (Kyongye) of Phenix City, AL, Michael P. Donohue (Kerrin) of Andalusia, AL, Thomas J. Donohue (Kathy), Maureen P. Donohue of Vestavia, AL, Berkeley D. Monroe (Jim) of Vestavia Hills, AL and Barbara D. Bell (Elbert) of Woodstock, GA.. She is also survived by 15 cousins, 16 nieces and nephews, and 22 great nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a small service will be held for Margaret's family members, officiated by the Reverend Robert Lamborn, at Otey Memorial Parish on the afternoon of Saturday November 14, 2020. Burial will follow at the University of the South Cemetery at approximately 3:00 p. m., with masks and social distancing required.
