He is survived by: his wife Caroline Bennett; his children, Joseph Bennett III (Dawndrea), Julia Bennett Moody and Amber Bigham; his siblings, Keith Bennett, Janice Haney (David), Beverly Rollins (Vernon), Frances Bennett Lemons (Greg), Sandy King, Cheryl Wilkerson (Steve Garner) and Julia Champion (Jack); and his grandchildren, Chandler, Spencer, Joseph IV, Jayden, Brooklyn and Lily.
