It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Douglas Tomes of Sewanee, Tennessee, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Tomes and Reba C. Tomes. He is survived by: his brother Billy F. Tomes; his great-nephew Jason Kelley; his wife Sharon K. Tomes; his son Colin Tomes; his granddaughters, Isabel Tomes and Sarah Russell Leonard; his extended family, June Tomes, William A. Tomes (Ann) and Phyllis Kelley; and also Tanner Stewart.
