In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact William had on those he encountered along his journey. Though William may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kirby and Mable Kirby; and his brother Ricky Lee Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Kitts Kirby; his daughter Julie Kirby; his niece Lori Beth Sowers; and his nephew Michael Lee Kirby. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens (3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701).
