She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Collins; her children, Rebecca Lynn Collins and Russell Allen Collins; her parents, Allen Hood and Golden Hood; her brothers, Frank, Callie and Donald; and her sister-in-law Betty Hastings.
She is survived by: her children, William "Scott" Collins (Penny) of Trinity, Texas and Rev. Sandra Kay Williams (Mark L. Williams); her grandsons, Dr. Austin M. Williams and Ryan L. Williams of Cleveland, Tennessee; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Collins (Lynn), Carol Parten and Glenda Sue Meek. She is also survived by step grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in her memory to the Iris B. Vest Spirit Care Center https://www.spiritcarecenter.net. where she lived among widows and seniors since September 2016.
