She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband William "Bill" Edward Tanner, Sr. of Carbondale; her husband Fred V. Scimeca of Vienna, VA; her friend Janice "Jan" Miller-Wythe of Buffalo, NY.; her mother Jan; and her children, Virginia A. Crocker (David), William E. Tanner (Michelle), Richard C. Tanner (Carin), Alan A. Tanner (Donna) and Debra M. Tanner. She was also cherished by 8 grand-children, 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
