She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Maples; her parents, Charlie Dodgen and Flora Dodgen; her siblings, Nadine Dodgen, Carolyn Noland, Pryor Dodgen, Jerry Dodgen, Ed Dodgen and John Dodgen; and her stepdaughters, Juanita Branam and Sue Ownby.
She is survived by: her sister Bess King; and her stepdaughters, Nancy Manis and Nelda McCarter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
