Thompson of Sevierville, Tennessee, born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 85, on November 12, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florus Jenning and Nellie Jane VanWormer (Turner); her husband Roland "Ron" Thompson; and her brother Jere VanWormer. She is survived by: her children, Richard "Rusty" McQuaid (Deanna) of Indiana, Linda Kelley (Steve) of Sevierville and Sharon Meszaros of Brighton, MI; her grandchildren, Julie, Jen, Valerie, Chris, Jon, Garret and Denver; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Sawyer, Hudson, Charlotte, Adalynn, Aiden, Josh, Alyssa, Chase and Jaydyn; and her pet Ginger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to FMAR-Friends of Michigan Animal Rescue and would be appreciated.

“We loved only 7 years on Irvine on the log house close to her but we grew very very close to her on that time. When we moved away in April it devastated me.. I just found out she passed away. My heart is broken. As she called my husband “ her boyfriend” we will both miss her so much. I pray that Ginger is being taken care of the way she always did. She was her whole life.”
