With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald M. Gillespie of Sevierville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 5, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gillespie and Fay Bond Gillespie; and his former wife Elizabeth Cason Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Julie Gillespie; and his cousins, Rita Porter and Mary Alice Clay.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home - Jefferson City (411 W Broadway Blvd, Jefferson City, TN 37760). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
