He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lee Holmes; his children, Doug Elrod, Daraul "Lucky" Holmes Jr. (Janna), Linda Elrod and Beke Kelther; his grandchildren, Michelle Hyatt, Craig Holmes, Briannna Ray (Jacob), Hannah Brannan (Mitchell) and Christian Holmes; his great grandchildren, Jaden Hyatt, Courtney, Elijah Brannon and Wilder Ray; his brothers, Don Holmes (Doris) and Pete Holmes (Gail); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Holmes and Dorothy "Lee" Watkins.
