With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Freeman Walters of Sevierville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Freeman and Gertrude Driggers Freeman; her husband John Paul Walters Sr.; and her siblings, Shirley Mumford of Wilmington, NC., Ervin Freeman of Dillon, SC and Patricia Stubbs (Toby) of Bennettsville, SC.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Walters (Daphne) of Barnwell, SC, John Walters Jr. (Elizabeth) of Fountain Inn, SC and Amy Shults (Brent) of Sevierville, TN; her grandchildren, Keeton Shults (Renee), Macy Shults (Ryan), Auburn Ferguson (Justin), Alyssa Walters, John Paul Walters III and Jeb Walters; and her great grandchildren, Fisher Ferguson, Walt Ferguson, Reed Ferguson and Sophia Dean.
