He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Levan and Hester Bass Levan; and his siblings, J. T. Levan, Dale Levan, Ozzella Shelton, Sara Jane Brown, Barbara Cartwright and Gail Harveston.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Reed Levan; his sons, Robert Simmons (April Millard), Larry Levan, Jr. (Candy) and Victor Levan; his brother Sammy Levan (Alvina); his daughters, Chasity Simmons (Zack Cooley) and Heather Simmons (Antonio Stuckey); his grandchildren, Jimmy Jones, Brittany Griffith, Barbie Anderson, Dustin Morrow and Holly Morrow; and his great grandchildren, Aidan and Serenity. He is also survived by great grandparents, nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM and at 8:00 PM.
