With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William S. Platt of Selmer, Tennessee, born in Millington, Tennessee, who passed away on February 20, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Platt and Margaret Ferol Rhodes Platt; his wife Paula Hicks; and his brother Bob Platt. He is survived by: his sons, Paul Standring Platt (Michelle) of Orange Beach, AL, William Rhodes Platt (Jenny) of Selmer, TN and David Breckenridge Platt of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Rob Platt (Jessica), Rachel Eyres (Jonathan), Julia Platt, Gabrielle McChesney (Ben), P. J. Platt (Amy), Becca Platt (Justin) and Dominick Platt (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Aiden, Zoey, Sterling, Ivy, Etta, Ellis, Cole, Caroline, Desmond and Nova.
