It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vanilla J. Hill (Selmer, Tennessee), who passed away on May 5, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Sanders and Palace Smallwood Sanders; her son Tony K. Whitley; and her great grandchild Lydia Burney. She is survived by: her husband Eldon C. Hill (Tutelum); her children, Arlus R. Burney (Shelly), Roxie Holt (Darren) and Sherra Cagle (Keith); her sisters, Wonda K. Carroll and Linda F. Maxedon; and her daughter-in-law Cherie Whitley. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren.
