He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Ayers (Wallace) and Shirley Clayton Ayers; and his in-laws, James Lewis and Mary Lou Robertson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ayers (Robertson) of Ramer, TN; his daughters, Terri Anderson (John) of Nashville, TN and Robin Arnwine of Gravel Hill, TN.; his grandchildren, Noah Anderson of Seattle, WA, Luke Anderson of Colorado Springs, Jackson and Meredith Arnwine of Gravel Hill, TN.; and his siblings, Dan Ayers (Lisa) of Ramer, TN, Bill Ayers (MaryAnn) of Collierville, TN, Donna Siler (Nelson) of Bethel Springs, TN, Wanda Crider (Donnie) of Atwood, TN, Ron Ayers (Kim) of Martin, TN and Sherry Deaton (Randall) of Adamsville, TN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
