He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eldridge and Lola Lonell King; his wife Patsy Ferguson King; his parents-in-law, Ancil and Roberta Ferguson; his sister-in-law Shirley Ferguson King; and his niece Sherri King Duncan.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie King Goodrum (Scotty) of Selmer and Jason King (Belinda) of Selmer; his grandchildren, Brent King (Elizabeth) and Sidney Goodrum (Jenna McClain); his great grandchild Elise Evelyn King; and his siblings, Larry King, Junell (Charles Goodrum), John (Dottie King) and Connie (Duane Moore). He is also survived by nieces and nephews in his large family.
Memorials may be made to Sulphur Springs Cemetery Fund or Full Gospel Church Children and Youth Programs.
