He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Ray Cossey; and his grandparents, Joe, Hazel Wisdom, Hardy and Ellawee Cossey.
He is survived by: his mother Penny Patricia Wisdom Young; his children, Noah Cossey of Savannah, Tennessee and Leah Cossey of Savannah, Tennessee; his father-in-law Paul of Savannah, Tennessee; his brother Preston Cossey; his niece Kaile Cossey; and his nephew Jamison Cossey.
