It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Stanfield of Selmer, Tennessee, born in Madison, Tennessee, who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benton Franklin "Bee" and Annie Vera Lewis Yarbrough; her siblings, Angeline Ann Yarbrough Cox, Shirley Yarbrough Lowrance, Vera Sue Yarbrough, Billy Bob and Robert Felix Yarbrough; her half-brother J. W. Yarbrough; and her stepson Ray Mayfield.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Mayfield of Eagle, WI and James Mayfield of Florida; her grandchildren, Jason Mayfield, Heather Lard, Jeremy Mayfield, Amber Reed and Dwain Mayfield; her sister Fannie Baldwin of Memphis; and her close friend Willard Doles of Selmer.
