He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucious MacDonald and Cordie Priscilla Huckabee (Campbell); and his siblings, Odis of Gordon, J. D., Mack, Gale, Lodell Robinson and Maxine Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Dorthena Mae Brown (Dot); his daughters, Deborah Elam (Danny) and Kathy Kerr (late Larry); his grandchildren, April Elam-Dierks (David), Clay Love and Karla Cromwell (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Tucker Matthews, Cecelia Maxey, Hallie-Kate Dierks, Elam Dierks and Jacob Cromwell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Selmer (160 Cypress Ave, Selmer, TN 38375). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Union Grove Cemetery.
