He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Iley and Rachel Suzannah Clayton Phillips; his daughter-in-law Sue Phillips; his stepchildren, Mike Hollin and Brenda Smith; and his siblings, Harold Phillips and Marie Crowe.
He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Phyllis Bennett; his wife Phyllis Phillips of Selmer, TN; his son Ricky Dale Phillips of Selmer, TN; his stepdaughters, Pat Churchwell of Adamsville, TN and Terry Pruitt (Jim) of Stantonville, TN; his siblings, Joyce Miller (Glen), Linda Crouch, Neal Phillips (Barbara) and Gerald Phillips; and his grandchildren, Ginger Renee Phillips, Shawn Hollin, Tammy Hollin, Nichole Huff, Jeffrey Gordon, Daniel Jones, Jeromy Pruitt and Cody Pruitt. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
