It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gay King of Selmer, Tennessee, who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Weaver and Nora Velmer McIntyre Weaver; her husband Vernon "Pete" King; her children, Douglas Vernon King and Durrell Victor King; her siblings, Joy Flatt, Diane Walker, Berlie and Duane Weaver; and her nephew Charles Wayne Flatt. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
