As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dennie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Euless Black and Cora Athalee Lipford Black; and his wife Dorothy Hutcherson. He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Wilson (Jeff) of Nashville, TN, Debbie Greer of Adamsville, TN and Paula Rhoten (Keith) of Nashville, TN.. He is also survived by five grandsons, two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Selmer (160 Cypress Ave, Selmer, TN 38375). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Beauty Hill Cemetery (3819 Limon Gage Rd, Bethel Springs, TN 38315).
