He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Vaughn and Martha Lou Russell Vaughn; his siblings, Peggy Dixon, James Vaughn, Arnie Vaughn, Mac Vaughn and Ann Knight; his nieces and nephews, Penny Knight, Shelly Huggins, Kimberly Dixon, Jimmy Vaughn and Brian Vaughn; and his great-nephew Nathan King.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Moore (Kenneth) of Selmer, TN, Deborah Kirk (Terry) of Lawton, TN, Judy Hopper (James) of Pocahontas, TN and Reece Vaughn (Dorothy) of Chewalla, TN; and his sister-in-law Gail Vaughn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Selmer (160 Cypress Ave, Selmer, TN 38375). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Eureka Cemetery (2825 Vernie Kirk Rd, Pocahontas, TN 38061).
