It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Bell (Selmer, Tennessee), born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Michael Bell and Roxie Porter Bell; his former wife Debbie Evans Bell; his son David Lee Bell Jr.; and his brothers, Eddie and Michael Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Howell Bell; his children, Cynthia Trimm (Rick) and Jeff Bell (Alesha); his stepsons, Gary Dickey (Jennifer) and Chris Dickey; his siblings, Beverly Bell and Jack Bell (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Timothy Jordan Hora, Jathan David Hora, Jeanifer Lauren-Nicholle Kilpatrick (Aaron), Jeffrey Wayne Bell II (Shellby) and Jana Leigh-Ann Comer (Jarod); his stepgrandchildren, Catherine Dickey and Meg Rankin (Charlie); his great grandchildren, Wesley Kilpatrick, Lauren Kilpatrick, Autry Bell, Brooklyn Bell, Madelyn Comer and Riley Comer; his stepgreat-grandson Elliott Rankin; and his mother-in-law Betty Swaffard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
