She was predeceased by: her parents, Landoff Hickman and Ruby Pearl Smith Hickman. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Deward Powell; her sons, Bill Wyte (Bobbette) of Gaffney, SC, Jesse Wyte (April) of Selmer, TN and Charlie Wyte (Presley) of Ramer, TN; her siblings, Linda Russell, Tony of Selmer, TN and Randy Hickman of Selmer, TN; and her grandchildren, Austin Wyte, Alexis Wyte, Saddie Weaver, James Weaver, Dixon Wyte, Haven Wyte, Tyler Gantt, Haley Gantt, Chloe Gantt, Jesse Wyte Jr., Samantha Shaw, Colton Wyte, Averianna Wyte and Jagger Reecer. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
