He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Theodore Carlin, Sr. and Lessie D. Taylor Carlin; his son Allen Dale Carlin; and his siblings, Jean Busby (John) and John Carlin.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Carlin; his daughters, Debbie Carlin Clayton (Tim) of Selmer, TN., Wanda Carlin of Selmer, TN. and Barbara Carlin Forsyth (Tim) of Selmer, TN.; his grandchildren, Christie Killingsworth (Adam), Michael Forsyth, Amanda Howell (Tommy) and Laura Grace Bivens (Cody); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan Howell, Adalynne Grace and Titus Cade Killingsworth; his brothers, William Carlin (Joan) of Selmer, TN and Donald Carlin (June) of Selmer, TN; his sister-in-law Jackie Carlin of Pocahontas, TN; and his friends, Jetta Forsythe and Nelson Siler.
