She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sherrold and Cleo Evelyn Fulghum Mitchell; her son Jeffrey Anderson Wasson; her daughter-in-law Debbie Yvonne Wasson; and her brother James Warren Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph Wasson of Memphis, TN; her son David Bryan Wasson of Memphis, TN; and her grandchildren, Christopher Bryan Wasson of Memphis, TN and Natalie Alexandra Wasson of Memphis, TN.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery (6185 Rowsey School Rd, Bethel Springs, TN 38315).
