She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Leslie and Maggie Lee Patterson Poag. She is survived by: her children, Rachel Rushing (Wesley), Gwendolyn Jimenez (Jimmie) and Kenneth E. Howard; her sisters, Patricia Louise Terry and Rose Marie Smith; her husband Kenneth Howard; and her son Roger Howard. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
