He was predeceased by: his parent Arch Rushing; his wife Paulette Rushing; his siblings, Jim, Harry, Truman Rushing and Imogene Weems; his grandson Noah; and his great grandchildren, Hanna and Shelby.
He is survived by: his sons, Marty Rushing (Susan), Steve Rushing (Donna), Michael Rushing (Karen) and Chris Rushing; his siblings, Jerry Rushing (Linda), Nelson Rushing (Mae), Flora Plucinski (Jim), Charolette Mathis (late John) and Mary Nell Tubbs (Jerry); his grandchildren, April Tutor (Wes), Matt Rushing, Adam Rushing and Mikael Rushing; his great grandchildren, Destiny, Haley, Haven, Carter and Spencer; and his great great grandchild Ernest Lane Wolfe.
