With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bessie Ruth Lunsford of Scotts Hill, Tennessee, born in Milan, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Harold Hays and Ruth Irene Hays (Branham); her husband Gary Lunsford; her son Jeffrey Whitehead; and her siblings, Ronnie Hays, Judy Branch, Bonnie Reynolds, Lisa Maness, Dora Whitehead and Margie Hays.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Whitehead, Elizabeth Shoemaker (Don) and Bobby Farley (Virginia); her grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, Farah, Cheyenne Whitehead, Jasmine Terry, Haley Guerra, Breanna Whitehead, Madison Rogers, Nathan Whitehead, Logan Burt, Lane Montgomery, Kylee Goodrich and Kaitlyn Goodrich; and her siblings, Harold, Ricky, Willie, Kieth, Kenneth Hays and Patricia Simmons. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home (303 E Church Ave, Medina, TN 38355). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery's 19th.
