She was predeceased by: her parents, James Grady and Helen Jean Price Tanner; her spouse D. C. "Dan" Benson; her grandson Danny Shane Benson; her great grandchild Daniel Chase Benson; and her sisters, Marjorie Tanner and Lynda Murchison.
She is survived by: her son Danny Benson (Terry); her grandson Derick Clay Benson (Melissa); her sister Dorothy Tanner; and her niece Cathy Crotts (Chris). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
