Though Waldo may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Waldo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Flavus Barron and Blanche McNeer Barron; his wife Peggy Dillon Barron; his son William Daniel "Dan" Barron (Dan); and his brother Wendell Flavus Barron.
He is survived by: his daughter Terri Durham of Savannah, Tennessee; his daughter-in-law Shirley Hurt Barron of Savannah, Tennessee; his sister Sarah Lynn George of Madison, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Brent Barron (Loren), Holley Smith, Michael Jackson and Christopher Jackson (Toni); and his great grandchild Brady Chandler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372).
