She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil C. Young and Veneal Jenny Hubble Young; her son David Young; her siblings, Jerry Simpson, Jimmy Wilkerson and Ann Martin; and her granddaughter Kristina Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel G. Young of Savannah, Tennessee, Danny C. Young of Savannah, Tennessee and Barbara Gail DeVaul of Savannah, Tennessee; her sister Karen Simpson of Savannah, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Adrian Young, Kim Young, Ashley D. Ditto, Erin Greenheck, Jeff Koonce, Alicia Hill, Matthew and Michael A.. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
