We bid farewell to Troy Wayne Benson (Savannah, Tennessee), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025 at the age of 76. Troy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bedford Benson and Ruth Benson; his daughter Melinda White; and his siblings, Robert Benson, Garland Benson, Hershel Benson, Harold Benson, Edward Benson, Oneida Higgins and Hazel Wisdom.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Benson; his children, Shelia May (Bubba), Jeannie Bonee (Donald) and Jamie Benson (Kim); his grandchildren, Rocky, Tyler, Kelsey, Tiffany, Taylor, Haley, Austin, Cheyenne, Anna, Peyton and Alex; and his sisters, Nadine Bailey and Reba Copeland. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church (4720 TN-69, Savannah, TN 38372).
