She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marvin and Verdie Helen Crocker Lasater; her husband Herbert Tyson Allen; and her siblings, Omar Burress, Linnie Jimmerson, Mildred Matheney, Aletha Eavenson, Delmer Lasater, Bob Lasater and Wilma Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Tyson Allen (Sharon) of Woodbury, Ann Lasater Holifield (Mike) of Lexington, Janis Carol Jones (Robert) of Savannah, Nancy Lou Messer, Roger of Hendersonville and Jay Matthew Allen (Gloria) of Farmington. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twenty four great grandchildren.
