He was predeceased by: his parents, E. A. Steely and Vera Handley Steely; and his siblings, Jackie McFall, Jerry Steely and Gene Steely.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Steely of Savannah, Tennessee; his sons, Blane Alexander Steely (Sebrina) of Florence, Robert Daniel Steely (Natasha) of Savannah and Terry Scott Steely (Tori) of Shiloh, Tennessee; his sister Glenda Beard (Doodle) of Florence, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Brie Pruitt, Sierra Pruitt, Caleb Steely, Daniel Steely, Eli Steely, Lincoln Steely and Canaan Steely.
In lieu of flowers, Ms. Elaine Terrell Steely has requested donations in memory/honor of Terry Steely be made to the following places: Hardin County Trap Team, Hardin County Fishing Team, The Kidney Foundation, or Pickwick Church of Christ.
