He is survived by: his sister Patsy Handley Gibbs; his sister-in-law Joyce Handley; his stepchildren, Bob Burleigh, Mike Burleigh and Coleen Batson; and his cousin Annie Jean Harrison. He is also survived by grandchildren, and 17 nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Eureka United Methodist Church, Wayne Road, Savannah, TN 38372.
