She was predeceased by: her father Elbert Copeland; her former husband David Phillips; her brother Howard Copeland; and her nephew Tommy Copeland. She is survived by: her mother Kate Howard Copeland; her husband Russell J. Posternock of Savannah, Tennessee; her nieces, Terri Garrison of Savannah and Jeanne King of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and her nephew Steve Copeland of Fort Myers, Florida.
