She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysses Stewart and Bertha Orene Lewis O'Tinger; her son Scott Sweat; and her brothers, Lambeth "Fray" O'Tinger and Jimmy O'Tinger.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Wayne Howell of Savannah, Tennessee; her children, Paul Allen Sweat of Arizona, Terry Montill Bolinger of Savannah, Mark Duane Sweat of California and April Leann Simmons of Corinth, Mississippi; and her sisters, Montill Warren of Savannah and Marjorie Giles of Louisiana. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
