It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Anne Thompson Armstrong (Savannah, Tennessee), who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Edward and Dora Irene Brown Thompson; her son Mark Duane Armstrong; and her siblings, Mary McKenzie, Corene Beard, Robert Franklin Thompson and Eddie Milam.
She is survived by: her daughter Misti Armstrong (Brian Clasen); her grandchildren, Joey Armstrong, Brian Clasen, Jr., Emily Clasen, Lizzie Flagg, Brent Odum, Cody Armstrong and Marcie Armstrong (Chastain); and her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Levi, Nora and Billie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Savannah Cemetery (400 Cherry St S, Savannah, TN 38372).
