He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard McQuaid and Genieva Cowan McQuaid; his wife Anita Walker; and his brother Calvin McQuaid. He is survived by: his son Alan McQuaid of Savannah, Tennessee; his grandsons, Michael McQuaid of Savannah, Lyle McQuaid of East, Daniel McQuaid of Michigan and Justin McQuaid of Pickwick, Tennessee; and his siblings, Jim McQuaid of Illinois, Vernon McQuaid of Florida, Charles "Chuck" McQuaid of Clarksville, Tennessee, Brenda Sanders of Missouri and Georgiann Stearns of Missouri. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
