He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis "Buck" Roosevelt Damron and Mary Frances Ray Damron; and his siblings, Melvin Damron, Ida Damron and Charlotte Damron Stackens.
He is survived by: his wife Cora Jean Sevier of Counce, Tennessee; his daughter Gwen Damron Tall (Nevada) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his siblings, Patricia Malone (Harold), Martha Honeywood (Paul), Denice Guy (Greg), Felicia Damron and Donnie Damron (Mary) of Counce, Tennessee; his siblings-in-law, Queen Sevier, Darcell Sevier of Savannah, Tennessee and Terry Stackens of Purdy, Tennessee; his cousin Nathan Irons; and his close friend Royce Cawthon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
