He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ann Benson of Savannah; his sons, Jeremy Wayne Murphy of Summertown and Calvin Edward Abels of Savannah, Tennessee; and his siblings, John Loyd Murphy of Savannah, Tennessee, Micheal Lynn Murphy of Savannah, Tennessee, Sherry Lynn Irvin and Tracy Michelle Morris.
