He is survived by: his former wife Linda Gayle Blanton; his wife Linda Blanton Walkup of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee; his son Eddie Joe Austin of Shiloh, Tennessee; his granddaughter Jessica Marie Austin of Phoenix, Arizona; and his sisters, Audene Phillips of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Susan Boney (Jerry) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
