She was predeceased by: her husband William Richard "Dick" Dickson of Huntsville, AL; her parents, Otto Farris and Carrie Farris; and her siblings, Fred Farris and Beauton Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Robert Frost (Christy), Kenny Dewayne Mink, Lynn Dickson (Donnie), Rebecca Harris (Frank), Rick Dickson (Theresa), Stuart Dickson and Mary Margaret Lanier; her close friend Glenda Thornton; her grandchildren, Scarlett Frost, Jack Frost, Garrett Frost, Angela Mink, Ashton Mink, Michelle Forgey (Carter), Susan Hudson (Andrew), Andrew Harris (Norel), Michael Harris, Sarah Catherine Lance (Calab), John Dickson (Anna), Jack Dickson, Daniel Dickson, Kathryn Long and Mckenzie Long; and her great grandchildren, Haven Hill, Zoey Frost, Walker, Truman, Jane Wyatt Carter, Bea Hudson, Kalea, Maile Harris, Adelyn, Ellis Lance and Emory Dickson.
She loved flowers but memorial donations may also be made to the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund, as she was a breast cancer survivor of 31 years. Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund through the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
