He was predeceased by: his parents, Atwelldean Williams and Marie Scott Williams; his wife Judy Marlene Cossey; his daughter Amy Benson; and his brother Ricky Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Williams of Lexington, Charles Williams (Bud) of Savannah and Jordan Williams of Savannah, Tennessee; his grandchildren, William Benson of Savannah, Tennessee and Jillian Benson of Savannah, Tennessee; and his siblings, Ernest Williams of Savannah, Tennessee, Effie Carroll of Summertown, Beverly Hunt of Adamsville, Linda Hunt and Cindy Benson.
