He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley "Bud" Hammock and Martha Tucker Hammock; his wife Minnie Pearl Broadway Hammock; and his brothers, Howard Hammock and Ronnie Hammock.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Hammock (Hope) of Counce, Tennessee, Denise Hammock of Counce, Tennessee and Patricia Hammock of Counce, Tennessee; his siblings, Brenda Shelby of Savannah, Glenda Jackson of Counce, Nina Felker of Counce, Carolyn Powell of Odenville, Betty Vinson of Lafayette, Georgia and Donnie Hammock of Rock Springs, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kristen Stacks (Chris), Eric Hammock (Taylor), P. J. Hicks and Tyler Hammock; and his great grandchildren, Addylyn Stacks and Lilly Stacks.
