He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith Berry and Olive Simmons Berry. He is survived by: his children, Jim Berry, Tina Smith, Lisa Crenshaw (Tom) and Greg Berry (Sonia); his grandchildren, Clint Berry (Malory) and Chris Smith (Kinsee); his great grandchildren, Briggs Elam Berry and Landon Michael Smith; and his brother Sam Berry (Betty).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at the Memory Gardens of Hardin County (17361 TN-69, Savannah, TN 38372).
