He was predeceased by: his son Jack B. DeBerry II; his parents, Edith DeBerry and Reynolds DeBerry; and his siblings, Jerry DeBerry, Aleene Hathcote and Reba Jean DeBerry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patti Berry of Hardin County, Tennessee. and Jeanie Hopper of Hardin County, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Jack B. DeBerry III of Savannah, Jill Wild of Huntingdon, Josh Berry of Savannah, Ben Hopper of Savannah, Tennessee. and Anna Hopper of Savannah, Tennessee.; his great grandchildren, Walker Wild, Brooks Berry, Daisy Wild, Carter Wild, Della Hopper and Bridgley Hopper; his stepgrandchildren, Kaile, Jamison Cossey and Braxton McSwain; and his sister Anne Styers of Savannah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to request in lieu of flowers and/or gifts, that a donation is made in his memory to the Darryl Worley Cancer Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
